Retail Marketing are pleased to announce their continual support for Soccer4All

Retail Marketing are pleased to announce their continual support for Soccer4All. RMG have signed up to sponsor the U9 team of Soccer4all for another season and even popped down to a local game to support the team. The boys played so well and we are thrilled to be able to support them for another year.

Race for Life - 21/07/2010

This weekend the RMG Head Office Ladies completed the Race for Life and raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK

This weekend the RMG Head Office Ladies completed the Race for Life and raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. Over 2,500 people took part in the event on Saturday morning at Prospect Park, not including all the friends and family that came along to support on the day. We would like to thank our own group of cheerleaders for coming along (and taking part in the warm up with us), all those who sponsored us and also our very generous MD for matching what we raised. We completed the 5k in 40 minutes and hope to enter with a bigger team and improve on this time next year.

Last week another member of our Head Office team raised money for charity, this time in aid of MacMillan

Last week another member of our Head Office team raised money for charity, this time in aid of MacMillan. The event was called 'The Longest Day' and involved James and his fellow fundraisers playing 4 rounds of golf on four different courses in the same day raising a grand total of £2,000. James said 'it was absolutely knackering but well worth the 15 or so miles that we walked and the 318 shots that I hit!'  We were pleased to back him for this cause! Well done James. Keep an eye out for an update on our next charity event, the girls Race for Life this Saturday...

This weekend another member of our team did their bit for charity

This weekend another member of our team did their bit for charity. Craig, part of the Head Office Support team abseiled the 120 foot Reading Bridge House in aid of British Red Cross who help people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. At RMG we want to praise Craig for taking on and completing this challenge for such a worthwhile cause AND then coming into work that afternoon! Well done Craig.

RMG show support for another member of their team - 28/06/2010

Last weekend another member of our team took part in the three peak challenge, again with the support of Retail Marketing Group.

Last weekend another member of our team took part in the three peak challenge, again with the support of Retail Marketing Group.

Nathan, a member of our field and Head Office support team said of the challenge ‘The exhaustion, combined with the driving in association with the three actual climbs ensured we faced a real challenge, one that was completed in the 24-hours time frame... we completed in a typical Nath fashion, 23 hours58mins.... - and I have the video to prove it...’

We are always looking to support our team members and would encourage all our staff to get involved whether by undertaking a charitable challenge themselves or by sponsoring a fellow colleague.

Keep an eye on our news pages for upcoming sponsorship events this summer including Craig’s abseil on behalf of The British Red Cross and the RMG Head Office girls take on the race for life.

Well done Nathan and team, we hope you have fully recovered and look forward to seeing that video!

This year has been a particularly good one, winning Team of the Year at the Field Marketing Awards and having the busiest and best peak we have ever had.
