Retail Marketing Group is now looking to recruit a Sales Support Executive for a Global leading Software company.. The successful candidate will join an existing team to look after the Independent retailers, ideally based in and around the London location and close to the motorway networks. The role is for an initial 3 month trial with the possibility to become permanent if successful. We are looking to provide a member of staff to act as brand and product ambassador to specified independent stores in order to develop sales and relationships. There will be a great degree of acting in a manner to support and grow sales. Duties will include; Training store staff on products and related relevant industry knowledge Ensuring product visibility in store Supporting implementation of current promotions and promotional materials Building relationships with store managers and owners as well as store staff Building relationships and meeting with distribution partners to support the account base as appropriate Reporting on a weekly basis and ad hoc as may be requested Face to face and telephone meetings with our client as required The role is working Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work occasional weekends where necessary. The Ideal Candidate should have; A training/merchandising background, (full product training will be provided) Retail experience beneficial, but not necessary Hold a full valid driving licence. Self motivated, happpy to take the lead and develop in the most appropriate way Proficient in IT applications with good computer skills (especially Word, Excel, Power Point, email and the Internet) Well organised and self-motivated, with an outgoing and personable personality.
